Maram (tree)
Content note: suffocation
A female great hornbill made her nest inside a tree trunk by boring a hollow into the bark, lining the cavity with twigs, and sealing the opening with a plaster of mud and feces, as is the habit of her species. While most hornbills leave a slit, this bird sought to prevent all unwanted intrusions by sealing every opening on all sides, until not even a pinhole was left. So entombed, the hornbill suffocated to death (Sivenanda, 1998, p. 20).
Similarly, those who fear the contagious affects of Eelam Tamil American fibromyalgic embodiment and composition construct silos to block it out, leaving not even a pinhole. Content to be completely sealed off, they eventually perish from stagnation.
